When I test plugins for work, I keep notes on which ones I’ve tried out and what I found. After five years and more than 300 plugins I can’t always remember which ones I’ve looked at and when.
This MS Word worksheet is the essence of a custom content type I set up to store my plugin evaluations in (no, the evaluations themselves aren’t public). If you do a lot of plugin testing you can develop your own worksheet to help keep track.
Not sure how to use it? Here’s a PDF of a sample review to look at.
I’ll be talking briefly about the worksheet as part of my presentation on plugins Thursday at the WP Philly Meetup. The doors open at 6:30 p.m.
